Meanwhile, with a clutch of models handling festivities, things are bound to go off inside the Mumm marquee where the French Champagne house hosted an $8000 a head brunch this morning, complete with caviar flown in from Dubai.
Some guests, including model twin brothers Zac and Jordan Stenmark, couture model Alexandra Agoston and model-turned-socialite Bambi Northwood Blyth were a little bemused by the dollops of expensive fish eggs being slathered on their hands.
Inside Lavazza's marquee (one of the few with air conditioning which will no doubt come in handy as the temperature climbs to a forecast 29 degrees at Flemington), WAGs Nadia Bartel and Rebecca Judd have arrived, swanning about with their skinny lattes.
