Chappell also allegedly arranged a meeting in a hotel room where they spent the day in February. They both played hooky on Feb. 29, with the teacher picking up the student up close to his home, according to the TribLive.

They were together at the Holiday Inn in Hempfield, Detective Randall Gardner said in a complaint obtained by TribLive.

Chappell has been "removed" from her teaching position in the Jeannette City School District, Superintendent Matthew Hutcheson said.
