An Indiana substitute teacher accused of bringing a 17-year-old student home for sex told him to be quiet so they wouldn’t wake her husband and kids.
Kisha Nuckols, 38, was arrested on Friday and charged with four felony counts, according to police in Fortville, about 25 miles northeast of Indianapolis, records revealed.
The substitute teacher, middle school teacher’s aide and lifeguard had sex with the teen at least 10 times at her home and in a car, according to court records cited by WXIN-TV.
She performed sex acts on five other current and former Mt. Vernon High School boys after contacting them through Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram, said Fortville police Lt. Patrick Bratton. Police started an investigation after learning of the allegations March 29, Bratton said on the department’s Facebook page.
Investigators arrested her in Indianapolis on Friday afternoon, a week after announcing a warrant for her arrest. Nuckols is being held on charges of child seduction and dissemination of matter harmful to minors, according to Hancock County inmate records.
Nuckols, a third-year employee, was been placed on administrative leave "pending the outcome of an internal investigation," said Dr. Shane Robbins, superintendent of the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation. Nuckols is forbidden from school property, he said in an April 1 statement.
