The 27-year-old actor believes his and Emma Watson's 'Harry Potter' characters, who went from friends to a married couple by the end of the wizard saga, would not have enjoyed their own happily ever after and are most likely to have divorced.

He told The Huffington Post: “I would expect Ron has probably divorced Hermione already. I don't think that relationship would have done very well.”

Adding further thoughts on Ron's depressing life, he added: “He's living on his own, in a little one-bedroom apartment. He hasn't got a job.”

Meanwhile, Rupert recently admitted that he found kissing Emma, 25, for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2', extremely “surreal”.

He said: “I've known Emma since she was literally nine years old and we had this very brother-sister relationship. And it just felt very surreal. I have a memory of her face getting closer and closer. Like, 'Oh my God.' I can't really remember anything apart from that.”
