Mexico authorities capture Texas woman suspected in contract killing death of ex-boyfriend's dentist girlfriend

The suspected mastermind of a contract killing was captured in Mexico, days after earning spot as the FBI’s most wanted woman in the death of a Texas dentist, according to a local report.

Failed suitor Brenda Delgado allegedly ordered her ex-boyfriend’s new love killed in Septemberand fled the country. On Friday, Mexican authorities arrested the 33-year-old 280 miles from the U.S. border in Torreon with a $100,000 reward for her capture, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Investigators believe Delgado orchestrated the contracted killing Kendra Hatcher after learning the 35-year-old pediatric dentist met her old beau’s parents in San Francisco.

The new couple made plans to vacation in Cancun before.

The accused gunman, Kristopher Love, 31, and his getaway driver, Crystal Cortes, 22, are already in custody on capital murder charges after shooting and killing Hatcher in a parking garage.

Delgado will be held in Mexico City pending extradition back to Dallas, the Morning News wrote.
