Charles Justus, 22, was arrested Wednesday. His distinctive tats may have given him away.
Charles Frederick Justus, 22, was nabbed Wednesday in Corning, a week after the colorful character made off with unspecified merchandise, Pleasant Hill cops said. Agents with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office were able to corral an armed Justus following a two and a half hour chase over a distance of some five miles.
The parolee sports a “NSH” tattoo on his chin and more ink on his cheeks. He’s also got a green star tattoo on the front of his neck with a capital “H” inked over it.
Pleasant Hill cops were searching for Justus after he allegedly held up a Nordstrom Rack on April 5. Witnesses got a good description of the perp, who was able to escape after he drove his car, loaded with a woman and three young children, into oncoming traffic, prompting officers to drop the chase.
Pleasant Hill is some 150 miles south of Corning, where Justus was apprehended Wednesday.
